Gutermann rPET Sew-all thread is the same high quality and price as the standard Sew-all general purpose polyester thread  but it is made from 100% recycled polyester.

The raw material for these environmentally friendly threads is from 100% recycled PET (polyethylene terephtalate) drink bottles which are processed (washed, shredded and melted into a granulate). The microfilaments obtained from the granulate forms the basis for the production of the sewing thread.

Recycling in this way is more sustainable, conserves the environment and saves natural resources.

Around 1000m or 1 km of thread is produced from 1 PET bottle!

The spools for the rPET threads can also be recycled.

Suitable for sewing by hand or machine and a variety of applications.  For use with most light, medium or heavy weight fabrics.
